The State Electorate of Currumbin lies in the south-east corner of the state, along the New South Wales border. The district takes in southern parts of the Gold Coast and much of its hinterland. It includes the suburbs of Currumbin, Coolangatta, Elanora and Tugun as well as the rural Currumbin Valley and Tallebudgera Valley. The electorate was first contested in 1986.
As the local member, I will fight everyday for the people of Currumbin.
I will continue to work just as hard for you in the next four years as I had since I was elected after the by-election.
We’ve got a lot of challenges to deal with both locally and state wide. That’s what I’ll remain focused on. I know lots of locals are doing it tough, and I fear things will get worse before they get better.
