Upgrade the Currumbin Creek Road and Bienvenue Drive intersection

Dear Minister Mellish

Four years ago, your government promised to upgrade the Currumbin Creek Road and Bienvenue Drive intersection in Currumbin Waters.

Despite an assurance that this upgrade would be fast-tracked, to date, this has not happened.

In 2021, our community was told that construction would start in early 2022.
This did not happen.

In 2022, our community was told that construction would start in early 2023.
This did not happen.

In 2023, our community was told that construction would start in mid-2023.
Again, this did not happen.

And still, to date, construction has not started, and your department has advised they do not know when it will begin.

I’m calling on the State Government to keep their promise and deliver this vital upgrade for our community.
